In
the setting of a magical kitchen, ordinary things,
like a tap, a cup or, of course, the fridge come to
life, sending Rainer, his little gnome Gero and the
would-be-wizards and -witches of four to eight
years into ever-new adventures.
Everything comes to life, stories pour forth out of nowhere and music tinkles through one hour of radio on early sunday morning.
From 1996 to 2001, Rainer Rudloff has written and performed for these charming little radio productions as presenter on Germany's biggest broadcasting company, the Westdeutscher Rundfunk (wdr) in Cologne.
Due to reconstruction of WDR's children's radio in 2003, this wonderful production has now left German radiowaves.
